Author notes: I'm amazed by how much a person can say in only 100 words. It's a challenge not to give in and write a double drabble (200 words), but I really do like the discipline of this form!

~Steadfast~

Limps entwined we stiffle groans and press tightly together. Long ago we vowed to put aside the needs of our bodies. But he has come to me so many times! I can no longer deny this great hunger.

Nor can I pretend not to mirror his desire; my very soul cries out for his embrace.

We share no pretty passion, for we are men of saddle and sword. We grimace, growl and laugh as we engage in wanton acts. I thrust into him and feel my spirit soar like an eagle!

He cares not; Hephaistion's love for me is steadfast.
