Notes: Written for Challenge #87 "Angst" at slashthedrabble. This is the first thing I've written in some time, and it certainly fits my current mood.

He stood at the urinal and relieved himself, but he felt no real relief.

Since his breakup with Gamble, Street walked around with a sense of disconnection, of disquiet. He wasn't introspective enough to consider himself depressed, although he filled up his waking hours with work and working out in order to keep from thinking.

Even pissing wasn't as good as it had once been, standing side-by-side with his partner, measuring his stream and trying to last a millisecond longer, then shaking off together, finishing up with a synchronous flick of zippers.

Too bad they had pissed it all away.
