Thick dust swirls high, obscuring individual faces as galloping hooves move across the plain. I cannot see you, yet I know you are near.

The desert heat bakes us as our army moves relentlessly forward.

Bucephalus carries me like a feather on the wind, my blood pulsing hot with the lust of battle. You are here with me to fight this fight -- to be my Partner in Glory.

In the midst of this melee I feel an instant of revelation. It is my Destiny to win the day; it is our joint destiny to share the future (come what may)...
