Fanfic? Exactly!

The word 'fanfic' actually states clearly that the story being shared is based on a fandom -- hence the 'fan' part of the word. And said story is FICTION -- hence the 'fic' part. (LOL.)

Having stated the obvious, fanfic is always BASED on the work of someone else. Let's be clear right up front that those of us writing and sharing fanfic at this website claim no ownership of the fandoms we write about. We're not out to trample on any copyrights, etc. (In fact, Jim's a cop -- and he's all over playing by the rules! LOL.)

Basically, if you feel you'll be offended by the content here, please DON'T STAY -- and please DO NOT READ (or view).

Nobody wants to slander anyone -- character or real. If we didn't love these fandom then we wouldn't bother spending our free time to write this stuff! Why share? Because we get enjoyment reading the fanfic others have shared with us, so we're sort of returning the favor...

You've come to a website designed for mature, adult visitors. We seriously don't want to expose minors to mature subject matter -- just as we wouldn't want our own children exposed to it! If you're underage, you really don't belong here, period.

We're not making money here (no kidding). We're not out to do damage of any kind to the fandoms we write about. We don't want to abuse legal ownerships or hurt feelings.
